Waste Management

South Shore Waste Solutions – Regional waste diversion and disposal, delivered together.

The Waste Management Shared Service is one of the core services provided through Municipal Shared Services (MSS). It is operated under the name South Shore Waste Solutions, and it serves the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg, the Town of Bridgewater, and the Town of Mahone Bay.

Together, our goal is to manage waste responsibly — protecting the environment, reducing landfill use, and promoting long-term sustainability for our communities.
